Hokka, ITA with MT that there are more legal aspects to follow. And I suppose you could always threaten to take them to small claims court. That's ridiculous. It's one thing if it says clearly that X expires in so many years, but they can't just make up the rules as they go. That's your money.

We pretty much know for a fact that everything is not in stock, so many of us are waiting for items ordered weeks ago. The email says "while supplies last." I wonder what that means when the supply is 0? Also, is it only for the items pictured? So confusing. I feel like such a negative nancy, but I'm really confused about the sale email and all bitter about the store credit change.

New York State has a department of consumer protection and there's also the state comptroller. I'm not sure which would be the right one. The state attorney general might be appropriate too. I've never actually filed complaints with anyone but the FCC, usually the threat of a complaint gets me as far as needed.

Here's the consumer protection complaint form https://www.dos.ny.gov/consumerprotection/form/complaintform.asp

this looks a lot like what i need. thank you so much. i'll hold off on using it until i hear back from them (i sent them an email telling them that no, i was not being understanding, etc. etc.).

thank you again.

hokka - I would bug them too. that is totally unacceptable.

because I am a bozo I am still tempted by the pomp.

eta - I checked in because I was curious about using my preorder promise code on a pomp. I was told that only the sale promos can be used atm. You can't remove the current discount and add other stuff.

Although I find the issue of the expiring credit notes outrageous, I do have to say that I had no trouble returning my defective Tharpe.

The zipper on the middle dividing pocket broke irreparably the first time I used it. I emailed customer service about it and Oana sent me an RA right away. When package tracking told me that the return had arrived, I emailed customer service again asking when I might expect the refund and was told "within two weeks". The credit was indeed posted to my account in about a week.

It's unfortunate that the problem existed in the first place, and I won't likely be ordering from HH again until there are many stories of improved quality. But I was very satisfied with the way the return was handled.

Approval of the bankruptcy plan negated unsecured claims from vendors and customers alike. Ben and Toni tried to protect customers with outstanding credits but there were no guarantees provided.

Appeal to the court?

Oh snap. To customers, too?! Holy ****akee!

Wow, this makes me so so sad. I've been a fan for a really long time, and I hoped like so many of you, that an influx of cash from their investor would help HH get back to where it ought to be, not mangle and deform it into something else.

On the bright side, I am crushing on a line of purses sold through anthropologie by Schuler and Sons (I suspect this is an anthro accessories brand, since I don't see the brand being sold elsewhere). The leather on the bag I caressed was squishy and lovely and totally brought me back to early hh, and the prices aren't terrible. They tend towards smaller bags though. Dunno how well they hold up, but it's the first handbag brand I've had a crush on in a very long time.

I pretty much said the same thing (to myself) when I saw that email. "So, anything times 0 is...0, right?" I'm pretty mad that they saw fit to try and tempt their customers with one more sale that would no doubt lead to despair and disappointment. What is really going on inside Jeff's head? What is this business model? An alienation model?

The info above re: bankruptcy is just shattering. What a shiitakey state of affairs.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that in a bankruptcy (maybe it's different for businesses?!) when debts are discharged, don't the people or companies holding that debt usually receive written notification?

I bit on the sale, I have been wanting the elson for a while and 50% was the best I could hope for. We will see how things go, I have a tracking number already.

Also, the items available changed halfway through the day yesterday so I think they prolly do reflect actual inventory. And they are different today too, so maybe they got a last shipment in or something.
