I hear ya, kinbrooklyn! I think the item rocknbarbie has definitely should have had the wear listed by the seller. Those kind of cracks are hard to miss. BUT I do know what you are saying, kin. I've had a few items that I received from HH and immediately knew they weren't for me so I put them aside to sell later. When I went to list them I noticed various tiny imperfections. I'd never used the items so it wasn't anything I had done but had I not looked closely, I would've just listed them as New in perfect condition. I'm not a stickler for a lot of stuff, so I kind of over look some imperfections when items arrive new from HH. So I have to be extra careful when I list stuff to go out of my way to describe any imperfections because I myself don't automatically notice those things. It's a fine line.

woodstock - glad they are working with you.

rocknbarbie - that's kinda worn, my very used Conrad had cracking but not total loss of sealant and was described as pretty used.

it's a good reminder to check bags before they ship. even if they buyer has already paid it's a good change to catch any errors.

The imperfections on HH bags don't bother me. I know they aren't being mass produced in some huge factory and IMO it's part of their funky charm. But for some reason the marks and dents I made bug me every time I look at a bag ( why was I using a ballpoint pen next to my Yam Clara!!!) but the little dings that were always there are kind of invisible to me. I'm not saying it's right ( I think "great condition" means pretty much brand new and unused).
I appreciate the Bonanzle ads where the seller lists and photographs every single little irregularity including the ones they caused and the ones that were originally there. Those are the sellers I trust the most. They took their bag out, sat it down under a bright light, took photos of everything and looked at it honestly and objectively instead of just lifting the stock photos and descriptions from the HH site.

Thanks for your feedback ladies, I really appreciate it!! :smile1: Lesson learned here, I think I'll just get it fixed out of pocket and not continue the unpleasantries and I don't think I will file SNAD even though I should. Like Mib said, the bag will be linked with bad memories and that's not what I buy purses for. Kin, I understand what you are referring to, but imperfection is different from nondisclosure, that's why there's so many SNADs and PP disputes out there. The bags we get from HH are all sealed up in plastic unless you got returns, mostly it's not their intention to be misleading...except in the case of Mojave scarf we all got conned into buying a tablecloth :amuse:

On a pleasant note, I LUUUURVE all the Tron stuff I ordered!! I didn't like the collection at all when I first saw it, I kept looking at photos and only considered the Fantasia items. Slowly but surely they grew on me and now I am really sorry that I didn't get a few of the Tron stuff that is currently sold out. I am buying whatever Disney items I can get my fingers on.

YAY! I got a black lily from a super sweet tPFer. She took a donation to Red Cross for Japan as payment. It was an amazing transaction.

My MIL saw it and liked it so much that she made an additional donation to the red cross for it. It feels great. It was one of those everybody wins scenarios.

Thank you "seller" you are an inspiration. I even did a bunch of auctions with proceeds going to the red cross. It feels so great to have a small hand in helping.

I'd love to see some more auctions with charitable donations.
