I wonder why they didn't do more of those leather laptop bags. They are so pretty.

Happy news - my wallet ordered Friday morning west coast time shipped the same day! So it'll be here this week. This new shipping arrangement seems to be working.

The suede Barnard looks to be in perfect condition but I don't use suede any more here in Florida. I've had an eye on the brown Barnard on eBay but I don't like the way the flap has that large wrinkle in it on the left side. There's a brown saddle bag on the Roots site I've wanted for a while now and that's edging out the Barnard so far.

Ditto, Suzz (kate)! I'm so glad Sally showed us the Roots site (well, my wallet is sad she did because it means it will always be empty). I love those bags. Which saddle one are you eyeing? (You can answer in the Non-hh thread if you like). Why no suede in FL? I'm in FL too and just wondering if you discovered something I need to know! :p

Suede seems to be more wintery than we ever get here in manatee County. When I lived in Gainesville and Jacksonville it was fine but there's more cool "suede" weather there. I hate needing shorts year-round!

Over to the non-HH thread just to be safe discussing Roots.

Oh right, Suzz! Even in NWFlorida it's way too hot! I'm with you....needing shorts year round is a bummer. I swear we went straight from (our version of) winter to summer! Yeesh! :beach:

I just got my Capri order from ~2 weeks ago. I think my sample sale order should arrive today. I love everything in the Capri order and the packing was fabulous. I had another box from Quiet Logistics so I thought it might be my sample sale delivery, but it was something from Gilt.

Debbie dear, you do not need that Bowman when you just bought the violet Maldives....the Maldives is perfect for taking to the hospital with you. It's easy to access your things inside, it's light weight and stands up to anything you can throw at it. The Bowman is pretty but I think you'd find it doesn't have enough room for your needs once the baby arrives. The Bowman looks like it's awkward to get into with that short strap on top. It has no cross body strap, just shoulder and hand carry straps.....that's not going to work once you're carrying a baby.

Not than ANY of us here need to be enabled...but just saw on HH Facebook page that you can get 20% of your entire order if you purchase (a) cuff(s) plus a handbag. It works on the handbags on the sale page too (just tried it to see). So if you were really wanting cuffs you could purchase something on the cheaper side like the Castor clutch. Just a thought.
