Hotties - I have some strange and weird news. I am still pinching myself. I am freaked out. THIS kind of thing - this luck - does not usually happen. A few days ago I was busily googling/distracting myself from work and found an odd thing on a website. I don't even remember what search terms I was using. I might have started with Lorca and ended up somewhere completely different. It is like I crossed over onto some alien part of the internets that I had never been to before.

Anyhow I stumbled across a jewellery store in Boston that was showing 2 oldie but goodie HH bags. Heh heh...I chuckled to myself. This is probably a defunct website or defunct store and these bags are LONG gone. But...WTH...decided to email them anyways. SURPRISE!! They replied right away, still have the bags and, I can't believe this is happening... A caffe pallenberg is on its way to me right now!!!!! OK - it WAS super-spendy - and I hesitated for about 0.3 nanoseconds. But - I am low in the satchel dept, I love the PM stuff and this pallenberg just seemed too good to be true. I have the tracking number and the bag is en route!!!!!

I checked and the orsay satchel is still available for $400. But - there is one on the bon in excellent condition for $135. The lady I was corresponding with is Irina and she was super helpful and I told her I would tell "some HH lovers" about the orsay.

Anyhow - so there you have it - a pallenberg. A CAFFE pallenberg. I am still pinching myself/delighted/dancing around the room.

Holy Shiitake Sally!!! What a score!!! You won't be disappointed at all. the caffe pallenberg is the best bag in my collection! Totally worth the price. I would pay that and more in a hot minute!

That is gorgeous Sally, what a score!! And yeah, Lu's blog is the best. Would love one of those bags, but you never see them for sale.

The caffe pallenberg is one of the bags I brought with me to NYC. I have so many fond memories of carrying it around NYC with Gingey and chillin with Cho. The pallenberg duffle by far is my favorite HH bag of all time!

I'm still jumping up and down. No one in the house to notice except 2 cats and a parrotlet. Who think I am crazy anyway.

Lu - I have to find your pics of you and cho in NYC.
I know you have 2? pallenbergs and Jenni has a saffron pallenberg and saffron pallenberg tote I think. Does anyone else have leather pallenbergs???

I actually have 3 pallenberg duffels. Jenn had my old saffron pallenberg but then I got it back from her. LOL Jenn has the matching saffron cannes tote.

Awe you guys are too sweet. My blog is a labor of love. I'm glad someone is finding it useful.

Yes! you should. Pallenberg love!!! I'll take some more pictures tomorrow when the light is right of all my pallenbergs. My NYC pictures didn't turn out so well of the pallenberg. I've got a great one of Gingey and I with my pallenberg in the streets of soho that I never posted.

sally, that's amazing! I had to check to see what thread I was on, it felt like a dream...that caffe leather is the prettiest ever! congratulations!!

The way you show everything that fits in a bag is so useful Lulu...and of course it's always fun to see what someone else is reading and carrying around with them.
