Hi PG!!!

Hugs all the HHotties, I have been burning candles at both ends and looking forward to a break soon! Sally, I didn't read the whole thread, but that break sounds like it's not much of a break! Hope you get some downtime soon!

I'm trying to buy my house, and that is keeping me astoundingly busy. More on that later! Hugs to all the HHotties!!

xo

Mishka - can't wait to hear more about the new house.

moth - I cannot tell you how many posts that I thought I'd written and never posted.

This week was INSANE workwise - I have been working 12+ hours a day since last Saturday. Thankfully one my hearings was postponed and there is now a very good chance I will get to take this weekend off. How sad is it that the prospect of a day off is now more exciting than getting a bag?

Hi Renee! Missed you!!

Good luck with the house buying Mishka!
Not much of a break Sally. Woohoo for grad school; much credit to you!!

I'm sitting her on a Friday night trying to remember what I was doing 20 years ago on a Friday night.

Thursday is our 20 yr. anniversary. We got married on the Sunday before Labor Day, so our rehearsal dinner was Saturday night. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what I was doing Friday night and I can't remember??

Congratulations 2-many - to you and mr bob-no-pants!
Hmm. did you maybe have a bachelorette party on Friday night? Hee.

You just reminded me - I looked up what the traditional gifts would be for my next anniversary and found this gem:
8. Bronzed baby shoes: If your husband never had his baby shoes bronzed, this would be an adorable gesture for your anniversary.

Hotties with kids - question for you - I am helping plan a get together. One person has a 18 mo old and a 4 yr old who are attending a kids party from 12-3 at a location 30-45 min from home. Would another party from 4-6 at home be a disastrous idea?

Mishka -- I can't wait to hear about your house.

Happy anniversary, Lauri and Banana Hands!

MB -- that seems like a tough situation to me. Preparing for a party is a lot of work even without 2 kids. Throw in 2 kids and a time commitment earlier in the day and it sounds super stressful to me.

I made a leather pouch this week. It didn't turn out as well as I had pictured in my head. I'm still not great with sewing zippers and I'm even worse at painting leather. The lining is an aqua sugar skulls print. I need to work at it some more and hopefully get better, but I guess it isn't so bad for my second leather project.

That place looks amazing. It looks worth flying up once a week for classes. I don't think my job would be too into that though. If only I were independently wealthy. You should totally do the drop in class.

I'm taking a fiber spinning lesson in the morning. I should probably slow down with all the ridiculous crafts and hobbies, but there are so many things I want to try.
