I guess I didn’t really leave but when I first jumped into luxury goods, I wasn’t at all interested in LV. I thought the canvas was such a boring brown and so logo heavy and just blah.
Then I discovered their higher tier pieces and just fell in love with the brand. They have so many colors and textures and silhouettes that I’m always finding something I love. I have actually purchased two traditional canvas pieces (a vanity pm and a world tour NF) but don’t gravitate towards them. I do tend to like the bright, fun collections. The fact that LV has their own exotics farms is a draw for me.
I tried to love Chanel but the bags are basically all the same and even worse is that the straps are all the same length and you’re SOL if that length doesn’t work for you. I do buy from other designers (and have a fair amount of H) but LV is the bulk of my collection.

I've tried venturing off to other brands but it never worked. I'm obsessed with LV but I think I should be since I verify them everyday. I recently sold off MK items that I bought and never used and could never pull the trigger on beautiful Gucci bags. So I give up lol.
I left LV for probably more than 10 years ago and went to Chanel and Hermes.
I did always use the lv 6key holder, key pouch and a huge travel wallet whenever I fly.
Just officially came back end of last year because Somehow I fell in love with the monogram print all over again. Collected a whole bunch of monogram prints. Somehow I never liked it before.

Ha! I left for several years and am now buying preloved all the items I ever wanted but couldn’t afford 20 years ago. My theory is that had I bought them then, they would probably be in worse condition now than the ones I’m finding on the market.
After getting exhausted constantly catching up on the trendy pieces and see major quality issues with certain pieces, I have happily moved on to mainly Hermès. I still fairly enjoy my mini pochette, mon monogram speedy and neverfull. I will be selling my trio messenger that gave me impulsive joy (because it was so hard) when purchasing but nothing afterward.
