Yes, according to her this is the only way I'd be able to get it. However I am hesitant since I don't live locally and if something is wrong with the bag, I'd be so stressed out with the whole return shipping process. I wish there was a way for me to see photos at least before committing.
BG does make a return process fairly easy I have found.
Think it is worth taking a chance if you really want the bag.
I will say the Chanel bags do get spoken for rather quickly

How beautiful. It's been about 10 years since my last NYC visit. I didn't get a change to visit BG. With the rumors of NM selling off BG, I hope this store stay around for a long time. It's the last of the great U.S. luxury retailers. We already lost Barneys.. what a shame.
Placed an order for cosmetics two weeks ago from BG - ordered from: Surratt, Tom Ford, Chantecaille, Bobbi Brown.
In total ordered 13 itemes. I cannot believe this, but so far I have received only 4 items, and All were shipped seperately.
I have received 4 seperate packages one being a small box for an tiny eye brush. Besides using gas and not being sustainable how is this a good business model? I am scared! Also received two texts from the hair salon closing upstairs where my hair professionals are going.

I ordered a hard to find fragrance from BG about 6 weeks ago. I ordered a Cle de Peau concealer along with it. THe CdP item had a GWP, that I didn't want but had no way to "uncheck." This order of three items took 4 weeks, several phone calls, and arrived in three separate packages. The Gift with purcase was a tiny mask sample in a 1.5" by 1.5" squeezable pouch. It arrived in a mailer that was so small Fed Ex lost it for a while (I didn't care but Fed Ex kept sending texts of "delay of package." It makes me very leery to order something from BG again.
JAR has been one of my favorites parfums for a significant amount of time, first when Golconda
was introduced & then when the other scents followed.
The gentlemen that were in that hideaway space were delightful & charming.
JAR was a "jewelbox" in Bergdorf Goodman.. discreet & delicious!
Changes are still coming unfortunately..

I loved the JAR Alcove. It’s sadly been gone a long time. The year it opened, BG sold the aluminum rose petal JAR earrings.
I didn’t buy them, and DH loathed JAR fragrances, esp. bolt of lightning, but the experience of trying them on was very special.
JAR titanium earrings have skyrocketed in price as they were done in such very limited quantities
& initially were sold at the London exhibition of JAR jewelry many years ago along with the
JAR book that was sold simply with a tote bag.
The Golconda parfum was done in a Baccarat bottle along with unique packaging (wood box w/wax seal)
Will also add that there were special JAR pieces (earrings & watches) that were done for The Met
in conjunction for the JAR exhibit where extraordinary jewelry many one of a kind were showcased

i am wondering what will happen next. It upsets me they did not replace the hair salon. I cannot believe that beautiful space is not being utilized for selling space if they are not putting in a new salon. Even a coffee cafe, expand lingerie, perfumes, so many purposes I am thinking of! Shipping??? The store is not being managed properly. Time for that to change!
This all might be temporary. Who knows, I can just say that I miss the access to JAR fragrances
& his store space in Paris has been taken over & he is displaced for the time being, or so I am being
told. So fortunately I've stocked up but still I miss visually seeing that little "jewelbox" & stopping
by to say hello to the gentlemen that were there. I have another fragrance line which I like
also available in Paris & luckily in BH but not all the scents are there to purchase. I'll manage, LOL
