Has Anyone Tried to Dye a Bandage Dress?

Fellow D.I.Y-ers, hi! I was wondering if anyone has tried dyeing or painting (using fabric paint) a bandage dress? Google is not much help. I got this dress but now, I'm not too crazy about the color. I love the fit, cut and style but would love for it to be in a solid black color.

Any help/insight would be appreciated! Thanks!

i dont think its possible.
the material is synethic and wont take to the dye well at all, it may probably turn out splotchy.
Also, fabric paint wont cover everything, when the dress is on ans stretched abit, it will should the beige in between
