Wow...some bags I think you really have to see in person. This looked great in mags but I wouldn't gravitate to his bag based on these pics.

Hey, I went to the boutique and checked out fall bags today.
This bag definitely looks better in the Tod's website picture than in real life. I consider it a bucket bag variation.
The color combination of the red and cobalt is striking but other than that it's not really compelling. I didn't have that, "I have to have it" feeling.
The leather is stiff enough to hold the shape but supple enough for the "flower" draping. I think it's a bag I might consider at the winter sale when it's 30 - 40% off but not at full price.

How are you enjoying It? Is it very heavy? I am not supposed to carry a bag that weighs over about a pound and a half.
It's probably a tad heavier than 1.5 lbs but if you don't put too much in the bag, it's not heavy at all. I am enjoying the bag - great everyday bag!

Cheaper than a Mulberry Bayswater that I've been saving for and more importantly, flexible enough to dress up or down with this Tod's flower tote. I agree too that the original price is a little steep and started searching online for a deal. Far Fetch's got them if anyone is still looking. Black, light brown, navy blue and red. Following this Fall 2014 burgundy/oxblood trend, I ordered a "deep red". Can't wait to receive it soon!
