Has anyone seen the lipstick pocket like this?

This is a vintage mid 1980s white double flap. I had it authenticated through etincelerauthentications so I'm confident it's real. I just never saw the lipstick pocket sticking out into the interior of the bag like this. Every bag I've seen has the little pocket is on the inner side against the wall of the interior. Has anyone ever seen this ? Thanks

This looks off. Also the registered trademark R seems to be set to high next to the word Chanel. But, I'm no expert, maybe this was how they did it back in the 80's.

I thought it looked off too. I wonder if etincelerauthention has ever been wrong? Hmm...?
