theres absolutely nothing wrong with having two sets of rings. my parents did that, and so did a couple of my friend's parents. haha talk about rings, recently, my boyfriend and i decided to get engaged, we bought a set of rings i chose. only a week later, i started an argument with him asked him to return the rings. i realized we're not ready for that yet. good lucky to you! I can see you're in a stable marriage. Your husband is trying very hard to satisfy you, that's a wonderful thing! Getting a second set of rings can mean further securing the marriage. Isn't that a brighter way to think of it? Enjoy!

When I was reading your first post I thought your diamond was going to be only visible with a microscope or something but your original is wayyy bigger than mine anyway.
I have considered changing mine too for the same reasons, the one I have now is all we could afford at the time but now my hubby is soooo much better off but I'm a bit traditional.
I remember my nan telling me that the reason the wedding band goes on first even though you got it after your engagement ring is that the vein in your ring finger goes direct to your heart. That is also why the wedding ring should never be moved.
I'm not sure I believe this but I must admit to never having taken my wedding band off and it does put me off changing it.
