Ok since we share the love of great interiors check this vintage out. It’s not really a suitcase is more of a box, with integrated mirror (how thoughtful!) and zip compartment. The zip is a lovely little Chanel gold metal- tactile and pretty.Thank you and I agree with you about the interior.

I have 3 suitcase like and vanity like handbags. I also have about 6 rectangular, geometric bags.

Hat boxes seem to be a thing right now. I haven't seen many carrying them but they are really attractive, esp. since I love round bags.
Another Tammy and Benjamin and also Picketts London are doing some nice new structured bags. The Agatha hat box and the Pera double sided bag. I must also investigate these at closer inspection :groucho: (all lined in plum suede).

Attention to detail is much better in vintage bags. New brands now just want to up-sell you the necessities as 'extras'.

I've always loved Steamline's luggage, but I didn't realize they made handbags!
Me neither! They do need to add a mirror on the vanity style though.... we need to go back to those luxurious details.
I fell in love with hat boxes when I saw this Kate Spade bag on IG. My husband bought it for me for my birthday! It’s made of smooth leather so not hard sided but still structured enough!
I’m still eyeing that A+O Steamline hat box but really unsure about dropping $450 on a bag made with mostly fibreboard. I do love the closure though. I think I’ll save my $$ for one from Tammy & Benjamin later!
