It was rose gold. I didn’t inquire about 10 motif in hammered YG. From my limited experience it seems wait times are longer for YG
Ok . I was really hoping yellow gold would return for ordering . Rosegold just doesn’t pop on my skin like I would like .
Yes RG 10 motif hammered comes quite quickly. My London SA told me his client got hers lately in only 3 weeks after ordering !
Does anyone have any experience with their hammered pieces oxidizing? I read somewhere that they could only be polished three times in their lifetime and Vca yellow oxidizes more ? If anyone on here has owned one for a while do you notice anything different ?
I had a yellow gold 10 motif for about 10 years and it never oxidized. I also had the pave Alhambra earrings in yg and nothing with them either. I have seen what you’re referring to tho.
I feel like the RG hammered starts out very pink/rose and within a few months oxidize to a slightly darker rose colour. You can see it in pictures on tpf where members are wearing their newer RG hammered with older ones. I feel mine did this as well. I think there's another thread specifically about it.
When I got the offer, I was given a production time of 3 to 6 months. The item arrived 24 hrs later. I am wondering if another client passed up the item.

Yellow gold when oxidized will still be yellow. If it seems to have darkened, it may just be dirty and need a light cleaning.
I have a 5-year old yg hammered pendant that definitely looks darker and oxidized compared to a brand new yg hammered bracelet I bought this year. It’s not really noticeable unless you’re comparing side by side. I do believe all gold will oxidize over time, and my yg Tiffany pieces have too. Again it’s really not noticeable and definitely not something I’d consider a flaw.
I haven’t noticed any changes to the colour of my hammered yellow gold bracelet. But I do think that it requires regular cleaning as it tends to get dull if dirty.
