I'm late to the game but just want to say I agree with others who said to leave the ring alone. The center stone is so beautiful already, there is no need to do anything to it.
I do like a halo setting for certain stones, e.g. smaller or colored.

That ring is perfection! If you really want a halo, you can always get it later. But for now, I can't imagine doing anything but drooling every time you look at that stone on your finger! It is gorgeous!!

I just went through this entire thread, and I have to vote NO HALO! Please don't get me wrong, but I think that it would make that gorgeous ring, and you know it is, too trendy. In my own mind, I think that halos won't be popular in about 5 years. Just my opinion, but I'd just go with a simple classic look.

Your ring is ridiculously fabulous!!! I'm not sure that you need the halo....but if it's eating at you, can the jeweler illustrate it or send a picture?

Hi risingsun! Do you wear your HOF halo ring and band everyday? I love mine but I think it is a little dressy for my everyday winter style - if that makes any sense! I was thinking of getting something plain and simple in a 1/2 carat so I'd have a choice of two rings to wear. Do you think that is silly? To OP - I love my halo but it makes my ring definitely blingier! Do you want yours to be more blingy? If not, leave it the way it is. I think it is perfect now!

I totally agree with Risingsun, step away from the halo!!!!! I have a Leon halo ering and I adore it, he is beyond brilliant and for sure no one does a halo like Leon. But your ring is magnificent, and it's style will allow you to have so many choices for RHRs. Since my ering is a halo I feel like anything on my right hand needs to be simpler, so I had Leon do a diamond and sapphire 5 stone and an aquamarine /diamond 3 stone, no halos. So if I were you I'd get with Leon and have a ball designing a halo to beat all halos for a RHR. He can source some beautiful colored gems, the sapphires he got for me are out of this world. Good Luck and have fun, I love Leon, he is sooo funny!

Hi Swanky, I am one of those
I am one of those tech challenged folks, don't know how to post photos. My engagement ring is on Leon"s site and the other two rings were ordered based on existing images on his sight. If anyone is interested I can let you know which image numbers are mine.

Wintotty, I am glad you have decided to keep your ring as is. I think it is human nature(at least it seems to be mine) to second guess these major purchases!
