I agree, no halo! Your ring is gorgeous, and the size is definitely significant enough where I think it looks just perfect the way it is and doesnt need any extra bling or size!

I agree with everyone about not adding a halo. I actually have a cushion cut halo, but your ring is beautiful by itself. I think the halo would take away from the beautiful side profile of your ring. It's gorgeous the way it is!

Oooo so that's what it's called! French cut stones. Without looking too closely at the pictures, it looks like elaborate scroll work, but of course, blingy scroll work.

And I agree with Sprinkles&Bling . . .if you need to satisfy your halo urges, halo the RHR! Or, as you mentioned, a pendant!

In the current setting, a halo would detract from the clean lines and those perfectly cut and set side stones. If the center stone were to be reset, then I would love it with a halo. :smile1: I agree with the others who've said to scratch your halo itch with a right hand ring. To alter your current engagement ring would be blasphemy! It's just too beautiful as it is.

I agree with everyone who says you need a RHR with a halo. I have a Leon e-ring (no halo) and have also suffered a little DSS, so to satisfy my need for bigger and blingier I'm just going to get another ring ring made in a completely different style. The way I see it, two amazing rings are better than one. :graucho:

Wintotty, yours is one of the best, if not THE best, Leon around. Please don't change it!

ugh this is what i get for voting before reading..I voted Halo but your center stone is stunning and halo might make it a bit "too much" imo..so nay to halo! Even though LM halo's are just purely divine <3

I love your ring! So much so that I've sent pictures of it to several people considering resets (hope you don't mind). To me that setting is the ultimate LM.

So in short, please don't halo!

Please don't add a halo! Your ring is one of my favorites. If you are having DSS and REALLY want to halo your diamond maybe you could set a colored stone in this setting and get Leon to make a new halo setting for your diamond. If you did it this way your beautiful setting could remain unaltered and you could get the coverage you crave with a new ring. I really don't think a halo would look right added on to this ring. I do think your diamond looks perfectly at home in this ring though. I offer this alternative as a last resort ;).
