Hallie VS GLam tote?

I bought my first glam tote a long time ago, to carry around large school books. Unfortunately it didn't do the job, but I still love it.
I saw the Hallie in the coach store. It looked bigger, and best of all wider, to carry a couple books and a binder.

The size rations actually say the glam tote is not only larger, but WIDER but it is obvious the Hallie has a wider bottom.

Does anyone have this bag?

Glam tote, if you have one from years ago its smaller then the new ones.. the bottom of the older bags isnt as wide as the new ones.

I have both an older one the first gen that came out with the two small pockets on the front and its not as wide at the bottom as the new FP one with the wide pocket across the front.

I think the Hallie just looks wider on the bottom because it is flat rather than rounded like the glam tote.
