Well I could (hardly) understand that price if it was made of a real croc
But trust me, 2 months ago a pink porosus croc leather bag that was confirmed authentic was gone for just 10200. There was little picture on ebay and not many people bid. Some signs looked good so i i asked for more pics and got it authenticated privately and confirmed authentic. but unfortunately i didnt win the bid. it was a big big steal for 10200 USD!!!! i will never forget that!

Guys - There are times when things are too good to be true. A true owner of an expensive item would know the value and list accordingly or just send it to resellers/consignment stores. Meanwhile, there are cheap items where the sources are not legitimate, such as stolen goods; Some savings are not worth your sleep at night or your (or your spouse's) political/legal career, for example. And, there are items where the value is too large to use PayPal and you have to deposit portion of the price with PayPal and the rest with bank transfer, then you have no recourse should what you receive is not what the photos show. There are many lessons on tPF about that.
Moreover, the most important factor that determine the price of a luxury item (of course besides vintage or rarity) is condition. I won't buy a rag Hermes regardless of how rare/sought-after/cheap it is. There will always be a better one in the future.

now back to topic.
