I was offered an etoupe lindy by the SA at hermes pacific place today. It's such a classic colour but I've just bought a rouge clemence lindy a month ago so I passed. Those looking for a georgeous lindy should check the store out!

I'm doubtful that it's still there as a Lindy, especially in a classic colour such as etoupe, is pretty popular but maybe you should just call them and check? I was offerred by the Hermes in Pacific Place. Good luck!

Happy New Year all TPF members!

I just wanted to ask of any TPF member's experience with Hermes Jakarta. I am told by my sister-in-law that if I buy $X of product I can go on the birkin/kelly wait list. I am also told that I only need to wait for 6 months - which is so much faster than other places.

Can anyone confirm this? And if yes, did you get the birkin/kelly in the colour and leather of choice?

Yup it was a mistake mommynpoppy and bolobolo. I asked my hub and he said it was at Singapore and the bag was not even a Kelly! It was a Lindy; not A Lindy in fact the SA told him it was SOME Lindies. Well, sorry for the mixup. I am starting to wonder if it were him or me???? We must be growing old together??

I once inquired for a birkin there (about 2 yrs ago) and got the exact same reply... X amount of money (heard minimum 20mil but now maybe 30-40mil) then wait for around 6 months... Was Offered leather and colour choice too! i was sooooooo stupid to turn it down coz now I really want to get one but heard that now the wait list is way over a year :(

In 2010 and 2011 you have to spent 35mill to be offered/ordered a Birkin in normal leather (non-exotic).
I have spent a lot more than that and still havent been able to get a Birkin from them and it has been almost 2 years..
I got all my Birkins from reseller in singapore.. No chance for me scoring one in H Jakarta.. *sigh*
