i think it depends on what you want, its really hard to place an order on birkin, if a birkin is what you want.

say if the waiting list is 3 years, maybe in three-year time, the price of a birkin is probably gonna be the same as current reseller price.
i came to think about it since chanel price increase

my dh just went to h store at pacific place and the salesperson said they don't sell amy birkin, kelly, and lindy. i found it very strange :( i tried a lindy few months ago at pacific place. not to forget the sa was very rude in answering questions like please don't disturb them kind of attitude. is it true they don't sell those 3 bags?

rainbaby, i found it awkward for them not knowing the prices for birkin and kelly. i called them about 2 weeks ago to check on lindy and they told me the price. last month they had lindy in bois de rose and iris? i forgot the other color.

i don't know what happened with their attitude but yes some SAs can be so rude

Rain_Baby, I don't think you should believe them..
I believe there are some at the back, just reserved for their "vips"
but lindys are supposedly to be easier to score, though probably it's harder these days. They had couple of lindys in the past months..
Yes, SAs can be very rude.. typical attitude of those who work in Hstores i guess?

you can try checking the stores whenever you can or buy some other stuff first?

my DH went to hyatt...and took his order,contance 42mm belt.....after that SA ask if he need something for me....my DH saw dogon wallet in blue jeans on display but he didnt like that model....than she took something from inside......another wallet...new dogon long wallet in mykonos...done...now myko with me....and she also said....that my dh can place oder for birkin or kelly.....and he order so black...she said maybe will take times...ok,said my dh...so i can prepare for payment to....he forgot SA name...
just remember that she wearing braces...

I know for any other product, we can ask them to search and place an order w deposit.

I call my SA at hermes pacific place jakarta,asking for new stuff..she offer me watch double retour and after talking something...she offer me lindy 34 griss perle...my DH check it,but he dont like the colour...

heyyy just to add on, I also had a bad experience with one SA from PP. Eventually I wrote to Paris about the unpleasant experience. In the end, the SA called to apologise. I am impressed with how seriously they take feedback.

I am pretty sure they sell Lindys. However, it's hard to lay your hands on one. In May, I bought a Lindy in BdR. Just keep going to the store and ask the SA to call immediately when the Lindys have arrived.

missBV I'm surprised to hear that the SA actually called. Hopefully lesson learned. If I may know how did she treat you?
I find the one in Hyatt is more rude, and they still lie to your face about prices. 3mil difference. I told the SAs in PP, they couldn't say anything.. I feel like confronting the SA in Hyatt everytime I go there. :nogood:

Anw, they received new shipments last week.. might be bcoz of the paris mon ami event.. though, still limited on bags..mostly accessories.
2 croc kelly wallet are still there quite a while now..if anyone's interested.

I think I saw a birkin was being offered at hyatt, but not sure. I overheard they don't have lindy.. hope they're being honest.

The manager was not exactly welcoming when I enquired about the Lindy which I ordered some time ago. Fortunately, she called to apologise and now when I visit the store, she is a lot friendlier.

Yes I agree with you that the staff @ Hyatt is more rude. I do not quite understand what their issue is. Well, if we are not too happy, I guess we have an outlet we can turn to. :D

I spotted a red constance on she shelf of Hermes Pacific Place on friday but when I passed by on saturday, it's gone. I'm not sure if they just put it in the back or if it's sold. but still, being able to find a constance on the shelf is extremely rare!

As of today there was an iris constant on display..
a couple new shipments came, nothing exciting though.

disappointing visit :shrugs:
SA named 'lia' if not mistaken, not so welcoming, polite and honest in answering questions :tdown:
