imo, i kinda prefer the one at Pacific place better.. KellyBeeGirl (or your DH) mayb u should visit this store next time.. i think they have better inventory...

Do you prefer CDC with GHW or PHW?

I've never visited any H store in Jakarta, but surprisingly they're quite well stocked I heard? lots of lindys and even Kelly pochette, in Spore both items are always sold out!!!

i don't know much about spore stores, but if u say so, i guess good news for me :) seems like spore demand is higher than here.. yes there's always lindys on display. kelly pouchette only comes once in a while here but both comes mostly in dark colors...

Hi fugmug,

Thanks for the kind recommendation. I have never been to Jakarta. Where is Pacific Place located? Is it pretty far off from Plaza Indonesia? I think the one i mentioned in my earlier post is Plaza Indonesia, in Hyatt. I do plan to visit Indonesia during my DH next meeting there (which is pretty soon....Keeping my fingers crossed :graucho:) To maximize my time there, I would definitely wish to hit on both boutique...haha. I am hoping to get lucky and score at least a Picotin MM or a Lindy while in the long queue on the waitlist for Birkin. ;)

wow. didnt realize it's been a while!
anw, for anybody visiting, jakarta had been having quite good inventory lately, but low in bracelet variations. they'd been having toolbox, lindys, picotins, kelly wallet in iris, rubis, etc.
Though service in grand hyatt hasn't improve at all!

last time i went to bali, inventory was even better, though no Birkins n kellys. Their stocks for bracelets the most complete -- of course compared to jakarta. they hev several lindys, bolides and some othet on the shelf.

hope this helps for anybody traveling to indonesia. :smile1:

They are waiting for shipment to arrive, i go there quite often, at least once a week coz i find their price for accessories arent bad at all.. i ordered Constance belt almost a month ago but still no news from my SA in H Pacific Place..

hi xcincai, belt in jakarta is easier (for basic color combination). I bought one last year at hyatt bcz they have more size ready in stock. But you can always ask them to transfer their items between stores.

I agree, keekee. Though I was told the price went up too, but I'm not sure. I was told too new shipments are coming soon. I'm just disappointed with my SA, cz she said she's going to update me when new things come, when actually last time i came, the item I'm looking for is on display and she didn't let me know.

missbv, there were lindys couple weeks ago, but not sure if there is one now. u got better chance for bolide though.

missBV no lindy in H Pacific Place last time i went there, from what i have been told by my SA, since lindy is quite sought after lately, when a new shipment arrive, they will not put it on display but reserve it for customers whose already on the waitlist for the that particular items (lindys, twilly, constance, etc).

fugmug yes.. they will have a price increase soon in jakarta.. i've been told aswell.. i feel you about the SA.. in my part, i always try to contact my SA through SMS or messenger just to say hi, that way she could always update me with new arrival.. but yes.. im the one who has to make the first move if you know what i mean..

I went into the H store in jakarta and had a chat with SA while hubby buying belt, was told i need to spend a total of 250million rupiah (usd 25k) accumulative over a year buying all sort of H stuff but not kelly n birkin to be a vvip. Only then they will let me order a bag with the specific colour, leather, hardware that i want.

Idjono... i've been told differently.. my SA at H Pacific Place told me i have to spend 35million (on non handbags) for them to be able to offer me a Birkin or Kelly. Since i have spent more than that amount i asked about Ostrich Birkin, but different rules applies for exotic leather, my SA told me i have to spend at least 100million within a year (again.. on non handbag) so i could order Ostrich Birkin. From what i understand, each boutique (Pacific Place and Grand Hyatt) they only get to order one Ostrich Birkin per year..
So maybe the 250million rupiah you mentioned about is for Birkin croc probably?
