I am going to Bali in 3 weeks and hoping to pick up either a Lindy or Picotin (maybe a Bolide). Does anyone know how the prices compare to Australia or other Asian countries? HK/Japan seem more expensive and Singapore seems reasonable (compared to Aussie dollar). Any advice/help would be really appreciated!! I don't want to get my hopes up and then be very disappointed because I can't afford anything!

ok ladies, so the update is, Jakarta stores are the same with Bali. They require a min amount (1-2k++) to be spent on other stuff first before you can order a birkin..(order?? couldn't imagine how long it'll take since even a spa treatment can take up to 3 months!)
when i bought my cashmere the other day, 1 SA asked me if i want to buy some more stuff so i can order a birkin. i was in disbelief. thnx to kellybeegirl, i just said that i know the other store has the rouge h (of course i didn't tell anything bout tpf). the 2 SAs in the store were shocked, they tried to figure out which SA offered it to me, the price, etc. i'm kinda embarrassed that this is the kind of service they have here.. and as mentioned earlier, service is certainly different when they see you wearing H bags and/or when they see you old/rich (cant find a better word) enough to buy their products.

Inventory wise, i think you can easily find bolide and lindy.
i went to the stores these couple of days, lindys were always on the shelves, even a brown croc one. lots of jypsiere, garden, victoria, and a few bolide. jakarta stores just received more clutches during the week..

Don't hope you will score leather bracelets here tho.. inventory and shipment is very low, except clic clacs.
price wise, you shld be happy, bcs they are having a price change currently due to the currency. what sucks tho, the same item can be cost different weeks after.. the current price made it even cheaper than Singapore (at least one good thing here!). Japn is def the most expensive, followed by HK..

thanks for the update fugmug, I have managed to score an etoupe cdc with GHW just last week @ H Pacific Place and you're right, they reduced the price by about 1.2million rupiah for my cdc, it works out to be cheaper than Spore's airport's price, so I am a happy camper!! When I first enquired about the CDC though, they had white epsom PHW but was sold out the next day after I got my CDC....and the SA said to check back again in 2 weeks time to see whether they have new shipment in...

wow congrats for your CDC teepotz! esp w GHW :tup: u r so luckyy i didn't see it when i went there. i only saw the shadow one. they said they'll gonna update me when they receive new shipment. i'll be waiting...
if i may ask, how much did u get the regular CDC for? last time the shadow was 12mil. i don't know how's that compared to other countries.. might get it if its considered good price

thanks Fugmug, the quoted price was 10.8 million rupiah, but when my aunt went to pay, she was told its 9.625 million (convert to Sgd its only approx 1480 where as in changi airport its selling at SGD 1682 and at taka its SGD 1750 ~ I have done my research and they didnt have any in stock, only in changi airport they have chocolate with PHW). Of course she gladly handed over her cc and didnt protest LOL ...... this never happens in Singapore, no matter if euro went up or down, ... thats why I love H in Indonesia :)

oh are you looking for specific colour for the CDC? I don't really like the shadow CDC, but I think it will look great on men though.

I know its really rare to get an etoupe cdc in GHW especially, I saw one member posted it last week and I thought that will be my HG CDC, didnt know I could get it so fast!
Apparently it was released coz someone didnt really like the colour, so lucky me! the SA kindly hold it for me only for one day and my aunt, blessed her heart, braved through heavy rain + heavy traffic jam for 3 hours (back and forth) to get it for me, she only stayed for around 5 mins in the store and had to dash out again. She even had her car parked by valet as she didnt wanna waste time finding parking spot on her own. Really love her for going all the way just to get my HG Cdc :)

i dont understand why they've been quoting the wrong prices (higher).. you really got it with good price teepotz..n etoupe w GHW is such a nicee one! 3 hour traffic.. tats so nice of your aunt! traffic+rain is truly a frustration... i think this what makes jakarta haha

yess i've always been wanting a cdc but haven't found the right combination.. :sad:

Thanks fugmug for the info - sounds like I might get a Lindy - I was hoping even for a Bolide but not sure if they will have the colours etc that I want. Fingers crossed. I am hoping the Aussie dollar will have a bit of a surge in the next few weeks to get me over the line with the exchange!

She was even willing to hold the bag for him while he emailed me the pix...

you're welcome louch. most probably u'll score a lindy in Bali, but depends on your color preference.. so far wat i've seen the color for lindys n bolide here are mostly dark colors. whereas jypsieres n garden are brights. gluck with your hunt n enjoy bali! it's such a beautiful place n great foods

please do update us with your visit there :).

underthesky - H stores here are kinda weird. it seems like they are bargaining with the customers n testing how high would we pay for a birkin

Wow, Lindys and Bolides just sitting on the shelves....not bad an inventory and my DH said the boutique was none too exciting! Hmm, guess he only has eyes for Birkins and Kellys. Any Picotins? Clutches too? :graucho:

Seriously, does H Jakarta constantly adjust pricing due to currency fluctuation? This is interesting!
