I actually like that she doesn’t give a flying f what other people think and just does her thing, weird as it may be. Too many celebs try to create a perfect image but are totally fake. Seems to work for her too…

Both she and Jamie Lee Curtis are Hollywood nepo babies who have had successful careers, but JLC seems much more down to earth. Paltrow always seems very pretentious to me. I've wondered if that had something to do with her breakup with Chris Martin. From what I've seen of him and Dakota Johnson, they seem better suited to each other.

That's because she said she feels sorry for the people who criticize her.

She's always had this superior attitude with a very high opinion of herself and those who denounce her are unhappy, miserable little folk.

She said this in a magazine interview. Not in these exact words but the meaning was very much the same.

not pointing fingers at any particular member but it seems to me in a forum with a lot of wealthy members there is an awful lot of negative feelings toward entitled celebs. Just my observation. Not that I'm a big fan of paltrow and I certainly don't buy her products but I think she is or was a decent actress and she doesn't bother me.

Well we're long past 10,000 pages for one in particular.😜 I have nothing against Paltrow's wealth or success. She's done some decent acting. Just my personal impression but she doesn't seem like a very nice person. "Holier than thou" is a polite way of putting it. Less polite is what my grandmother would have said, she thinks her you know what doesn't stink.

I think she’s getting backlash the way Martha Stewart used to. I’ve always thought that was unfair, probably sexist.
I can see where her mannerisms might be off-putting, maybe some of her actions are as well. But I think her whole project is not that much different from what Martha Stewart has done all her life.
