I don't know. Rollo is a bit of a creep for me. I'd rather actually take Gustaf's character if I had to choose one.

What's the myth?

Oh, without a doubt Floki is my #1 man too :D

In the myths (some of them, there are a lot suggesting the stories about Ragnar are a combination of more than one person though several of his children were real historical persons) he ends up in the snakepit of King Aella (spelling?). Since we've already seen that I am hopeful ;) But who knows if they want to kill off their lead.

I guess they will keep that for the end. If they get a third season they still need a lead.

I think if I was famous I would hope my friends would not put me on Instagram. Maybe once or twice is natural, but I always feel Matias advertises his friendship with Gustaf. Maybe Gustaf doesn't mind, but it makes me like both of them less.

I don't think Gustaf minds. Sometimes he's even commenting on pics so he's aware of it.

I know where you're coming from but I think it's a puzzle how to navigate social media when you're famous. Some are all over the place shaing everything, others aren't online at all or with closed accounts, others are somewhere in the middle. Gustaf seems to be mostly private but doesn't seem to want to be the one to tell friends/coworkers to not post photos of him. Matias posts a LOT but mostly of himself and of Gustaf, not of Joel for instance so I guess there are limits to who wants to be online. It's kind of the same with none of them posting photos of Alex online.

Yes I have noticed that too. I don't Iike it when people compare the brothers all the time because they are not the same, but i am glad for Alex that his friends do not do this (even if I would enjoy to see the pictures!!)

I agree with you that it must be difficult if you are famous to balance between your privacy and being normal with your friends online.

It's also something that changes with time. Alex had a website at some point and Gustaf has a fb-page - Joel had (has?) one too where they posted themselves. At some point though Alex closed his page and went off-line, and Joel isn't active online either. I think it's easier being online and the fans are less agressive when most of the work take place in Sweden. Once they start having succes abroad along comes the crazy fans and it probably also takes a lot more work to run the site themselves, so it's easier to stop and not be online. At least that's my theory :smile1: Personally I prefer it when actors aren't online - there's always that moment where the do that one little thing that makes you go argh really - that's never nice

Yeah and there's always that mystic factor going lost. I'd rather not know what they had for lunch in order to imagine them as the character they're playing in a film.

That is true! And true that it changes with time and what stage of career the actor is at. Maybe that is what bothers me about Matias posting Gustaf - if Gustaf posted openly his own photos that would be one think, but another actor who (in my opinion) people are not so interested in seems like trying to take advantage of interest in his friend.

It is true your bolder part, but for me the reason to stay private is because of interest - I can be open with photos of my life online because no one really cares, but we are so interested to see and wonder about famous people's photos that I think it becomes a different thing.
