According to the peeps over at the Dome, Valter has signed with the same US agent as Gustaf. Talk about a package deal. ;)

Here is a link to IRL, courtesy of the dome. I believe it's Valter's first lead role.

He got a lot of praise for his work in that role. Did quite a lot of press for it too. With all the usual questions: what's it like being an actor with your dad/brothers also being actors, how do you feel about nudity (he's naked in the movie obviously) and bla. bla. bla. He seems quite well-tempered this one. Smart kid I think. :)

Ok, I've seen the first four episodes of season 1 now and, well, it's not especially new or interesting yet. Maybe it happens at some point. Though I'm utterly fascinated by that wonderer Ragnar is going to. He totally reminds me of Marilyn Manson. It must be the lipstick. And for a Michael Hirst tv show there's not enough sex scenes. :p

I'm loving it. Particularly as they are playing with what little known truth there is about Ragnar in the Viking history/poetry. Prince Ecbert is also fascinating. Floki is very much like his similar namesake aka Loki, a mischief maker, intriguing but mildly sinister. Every time Gustaf is onscreen he invokes all these levels very well. Floki is funny but also dangerous.
