Gucci wallet vs LV wallet

I own several Gucci's. They have all held up really well. I do love leather over canvas.

Both brand offer some really good wallets...
I think Gucci leather wallet looks pretty durable...but their fabric wallets make me iffy.
One thing I like about Gucci is they offer a couple of long wallet that contains vertical card slots than horizontal.

I have couple of Gucci wallets and they do not last long. I change wallets every week and the Gucci ones I have, I only use it less than 15 times since I had it for 5 years. The edges start to rub off. When you have fill the slots with cards, the seams poped up. My Coach wallets stood up better with even more uses. I like my new origami LV wallet, it is holding up well and I been using it for a month now. I fill it with cards, and it still look slim.

LV wallets / SLGs will last a lifetime. Quality is especially amazing and these SLGs are indestructible.

I've had a handful of gucci, prada, and cartier wallets and then I got into lv- I haven't changed brands ever since. They hold up strong. My mono small bifold ripped after 5 years but that's because I'm quite careless and I stuffed it. I stopped using wallets after getting 2 cles- it fits more neatly in my bag, so I use the lv long zippy emp wallet as a clutch (and stick my iphone 5 in there, too!)

I have both. My Gucci wallets are all leather, zippy wallets! Love them carried them everyday for a year and they still look and work great! I have a canvas one but haven't had the chance to use it. I also have LV canvas and leather, no complaints here but I haven't had them even a year yet.

Gucci is cheaper but that doesn't mean the quality is as well. I think if your going for a canvas wallet, I'd go with LV all day.....Gucci canvas is softer and tends to look dingy. But if you're looking at leather, either would work great! Gucci leather is sooooo soft yet durable. And while I love LV Epi leather, it just doesn't have the same softness. I've been consumer of Gucci since I was 16, mostly buying their leather bags, wallets, and shoes and I've never had even the slightest issue with any of it!
