I got my horsebit hobos from gucci.com and they have 2 rows of six

I bought a bag from the Gucci's store near my town, I was sure my bag has just one line of serial number and said many times in the forum... now I went to check it... and I have two lines with 6 numbers each line, so total of 12 numbers!

hello, not too familiar with ladies bags (although my reciepts would seem like i am. aslong as the girlfriend is happy..right?) trying to figure out if theres a way to find the name of the bag, and what year it was sold, and maybe even a price. i have contacted gucci but still no answer. this one is my mom's and i know its authentic but not sure what model or year it was sold.

is there a website that you can type in a serial number to show its model year and make? thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Hello,
I have purchased two purses from the Gucci boutique, and they both have different serial number patterns. one is 001-3743 (top) 02026 (bottom), the second one 73983 (top) 002058 (bottom).

I'm almost positive the rule for 6 numbers on top and bottom as a rule of thumb is not correct.

How you tell what is an authentic serial number and what is not...the mystery remains!
