Hello everyone,
I'm requoting my post below from the authenticate thread...I think this is the right thread to share my surprise lol.

I was helping a coworker friend and posted the handbag she bought from tjmaxx and one of our authenticators (thanks again) confirmed that she didn't get a fake wohoooo.....

now what I'm still trying to process is how was she able to purchase a Gucci handbag at TJMAXX? I didn't realize that this is possible.

Not to offend anyone, I do go to tjmaxx for household items, but I never knew they sell these designer brand items....is that even legitimate?

Who would have thought it's that easy to buy a top designer handbag at such store.....guess where have I been? I am still skeptical and will continue going to the boutique or NM so I know for sure its authentic. Thanks for letting me rumble lol

I once purchased a Gucci bag at TJ Maxx in the mid 1980's, so they do get them from time to time..

Ps. It was one of the nicest luxury bags I've ever owned, one of my all-time favorites (and I have bags from all the design houses)!

Tj maxx have special stores with runway sections. There are 2 of these stores near me and one regular tj maxx (no runway). Look at their website and you can find which stores have runway. I see Gucci items all the time there.

...at the same time we just need to be very cautious due to all the superfakes I've been reading and hearing about.

Very interesting I guess I never really paid attention at what other items TJMAXX has lol. I mean I've gone few times at our local TJMAXX and even TKMAXX in London before but never knew they have these sub departments..

If you go to the "Made in Italy" section of the TJ Maxx website and sort from high to low, there's Gucci, Fendi, etc. You can also search "Made in Italy Logo."

Anyone been to Gucci outlet in Secaucus New Jersey lately??? I don't want to take a couple hour drive there unless they've updated their inventory since my last visit.

Thanks! I'll take the drive then. I'm in South Jersey so it can be a tough drive up there. Last time I went there was lots of blooms. I personally don't like blooms or canvas. ( I know lots of people love them and that's okay) but I'm more interested in leather. I love SLG's too. I'm also interested in scarves.
I love Gucci but I just don't like blooms or canvas so I got disappointed last time I went. I went in expecting to make purchases but left with nothing :(

Some blooms but lots of other bags. Also ask about colors of bags because not all colors. out. Lots of scarves and I saw people buying them. It was initially not crowded then tons of people and people were buying. I had to contain myself. Could have bought a ton of stuff.

Perfect thanks so much.
I was so disappointed last time that I didn't want to take the drive unless I knew that there was stuff that I liked.
I'm looking for several scarves and purses and probably some SLG's as well. Last time I withdrew cash and left my purse in my trunk so I could only spend the money I withdrew. I ended up leaving with nothing. :( I got disappointed.
I'm going to plan a trip for Saturday now that I know that there's more leather and purses and scarves out.
I really need a small card holder for traveling with a small crossbody bag. I also want a new small crossbody bag. I want scarves to cover my hair in the wind during the winter months so I have a long list! Lol!
