Gucci Price Increases

i've noticed. i work at a sunglass store thats owned by their manufacturer and the sunglasses go up at least $30 like ever few months. its crazy. they used to start at like $210 or so. now they go from $240 to $700

Do you think it's because gucci is not making enough sales that they are compensating for it by making such unreasonable price increase.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed or not but my SA told me that there will be a price increase in October.......sucks! But still better than LV.

Really? Lol, I was wondering when it'll come, considering EVERYTHING else is increasing.

I'm not sure but LV increased theirs at the same percentage.

Even for the LV price increase, some of their prices actually dropped in Canada. Wish that would go for Gucci; we'd probably get affected the most here

I didn't know that some LV prices dropped in Canada! Too bad I'm not an LV fan.ush: I believe a lot of luxury goods have increased already which I guess it's a bit weird. I can understand with the necessary goods like food and gas - no matter what the price increase people still NEED them. However, we don't need luxury handbags - though sometimes it seems like we do (I know I do).

Oh well, I have banned myself until october so I'll just have to deal with the price increase.
