Gucci or Tag Heuer watch?

I am in love with an Omega watch at the moment and generally prefer the bigger, chunkier watches of today. However, I bought THIS watch 25 years ago and it is still in great condition and working perfectly. I wore it every single day for about 20 years and still wear it occasionally now. I also have a Stainless Steel Gucci that I now wear almost every day. Gucci watches may come from a Fashion House and they may only come in quartz, but that's not to say that they are not hardy and robust. Out of your two choices, my advice is to get the watch that feels best and most attractive on your wrist.

Thanks for the advice I have tiny wrists and don't like really big pieces of jewellery on them as it looks too overwhelming. So I will go try them on.
I like the design of the gucci but I like the diamonds on the tag!

I totally agree!

Sorry to attach myself on, but new and not able to start own thread...My DH bought me a Tag when I was expecting our second child. (He probably felt bad for me from all the morning sickness vomit) I haven't gotten around to wearing it because I have tiny wrist and never had it adjusted. Now I'm faced with the dilemma of selling it or holding on to it. Any advice?

Omg.. That watch is beautiful. Why don't you wear it??

I totally understand.. I have a beautiful tag w mop and diamond markers. The battery has to be replaced and it's been almost a year now! I went out and bought another watch, just a Marc Jacobs run around until my hubby can get mine fixed.
But really, yours is beautiful. Hold onto it and have links removed when you can.. Maybe I'll send you mine and you can bring them both in.. Lol

Oh wretched battery! my other pet peeve. Yes bring it over! I need some motivation to get it done. But good advice.
:heart:your ring, Friday! simply timeless and classic. Congrats?

Gorgeous watch!!!
Thanks! The box that it lives in likes it too. :shrugs:

I think it's a beautiful classic looking watch and my vote is to start wearing it rather than sell. They don't generally have good resell values.

Thanks Xiangxiang! I've been reading the same online. A bit depressing, but I still like it.

Thank you, scatter sunshine. We reset my diamond into a new setting for my 10 yr anniversary last year.

Aww, Happy 10!!! What a nice way to commemorate it. Ours is 4-28-02. Similar dates?
We like 13 also, DH and DD we born on the 13th! second DD 31st!
