Same here... harder and more impossible to fake. I had mine for about a couple of years and still get rave reviews. Wanted the long wallet too, but couldn't see spending almost $800 for it. Now that it's not available... I am somewhat regretting it.

This bag was love at first sight when I first saw it on the Gucci website, and then in the boutique. I was choosing between this and the Fendi Porter nylon Baguette bag for men. They are both the same price. This won because it was so unique, and the colour is so beautiful. The velvet gives depth to the blue colour. I also love the vintage gold hardware, the blue and red web, the black leather trim, the vintage luggage design of the bag, the top-handles and the detachable shoulder strap (my favourite style of bag)...I'm in love!

Are the supreme prints prone to shipping? Given that they are probably screen printed, they most likely are, right?
Do you mean chipping and peeling? I only have one item with images printed on the GG Supreme (my Blooms bag), and I haven't used it to any extent where I've seen peeling so I don't know if it is prone to happening. Maybe post this question on the main Gucci forum to see if anyone has had such an experience with their GG Supreme.

It's hard to resist interesting and well-designed men's bags and accessories. I mean, a men's bag made from a lush, ocean-blue velvet in a vintage luggage shape? It was a winning combination! I asked two friends what they thought of the bag while trying to decide if I should get it. Both of them said the velvet was strange for a men's bag, and that it was hard to care for. But I think that's what I liked about it. It was so different from my other bags.You are turning into quite a Gucci boy
