I also was unable to get the welcome code to apply on the NM website. I tried their online chat, and struck out. I finally picked up the phone, and at first she only offered 10% off, and after I questioned it, she gave me 15% off. Woohoo! I am so glad I do not have to wait until November. Oddly, the rose beige was not easily found online, but my browser's cache still had it in my cart so I had the item number. The other odd thing is that it was "on sale" for $979.

I have got this bag in both colours. The rosebeige i bought first, but looking at it now i have got to admit that i am getting way more use out of the black. Plus i prefer the black leather more. It just feels more sturdy and carefree to me. The only thing that bothers me is the handling. It is only working for me when i stick to my most needed essentials. Packing it "tetris style" like you see in some yt videos is so annoying. It truely bothers me all day because it is a struggle to get things in an out. Other than that the black is perfect for me. But you are right, underwhelming doesnt justify the price!

Yeah I just don't wanna have to play Tetris with my bag. The Disco is a beautiful bag but I already have the LV Favorite MM which is a fantastic everyday crossbody. I think I will probably just return and look for something else. Maybe a new tote

While I am definitely excited, I'm also curious about something. Does the fact that these are shipping early when the anticipated ship date was November mean that the bags being shipped out now are returns?

Just went on the NM site and the red Disco is only US$735 but their black one is US$980. So probably black ones including yours are from a new shipment with the new (higher) price tag rather than returns.
Ohh makes sense bc Nordstrom just got a new shipment of the disco bags in black, red and rose beige.

The red one you received from them recently was definitely new right? I'm debating getting it but I'm not sure if I should worry about color transfer (I wear a lot of black jeans).
I think they changed the exclusions... maybe they realized people are use the discount for Gucci....

Loll I asked a sales rep why the prices were so different and she tried to convince me that the red one was a completely different bag. Because the names are different and also the dimensions for the red one are smaller. I'm so confused right now.
