Hello everyone. I'm new to the Gucci forum, usually hang out over in Mulberry but I have decided to spread my handbag wings!
Yesterday I received my Soho Disco straight from Gucci. It is so lovely but OMG the smell! I've left it out airing all day in the hope it was the packaging but nope, still not smelling like leather! So I came straight in here to do a search. I'm happy to see it's not just me who has experienced this smell, but can anyone tell me if they kept their odd smelling bag did it ever disappear?
I think I know it's got to go back (sniff - that's a sniff of sadness not a sniff of the bad smell! Lol) but I don't know if it's worth trying to get a replacement. I don't live anywhere near a stockist so will have to rely on Gucci sending another one.
Thanks in advance for any advice you Gucci experts can give this newbie.

I love the green but the tassel is something I love about the original one. I also think it really sucks that they're charging the same price even though it doesn't have the tassel. [emoji53]
I'm in the same boat ashcat. Love the green but the lack of tassel is disappointing. Ita about the price point staying the same with the tassel gone, it should be knocked down without it.
gah!!! Is it a deeper darker red? Or the same true red they have now? Hmmmm....

Well there really isn't a "so-called" sale anymore. Only a selected few get invited and I personally feel there will not be any Soho disco bags; but who am I to say. Time will tell.
