Would you go for the rosebeige or red as your first (and probably only) disco?

Rosebeige: I have no light bag in my collection and have been loving this color for a while now. Am a bit afraid of color transfer but really want a light crossbody bag for summer.

Red: I want a good red crossbody bag for everyday use. The disco red would be great since the red color is neither too bright nor too dark. With a red color I would still have to think about color transfer with dark jeans so it is not really worry free neither.

So both colors would be perfect but I can only afford one.

I would go with rose beige. If you soak dark jeans in vinegar before they're ever washed it locks in the dye and color transfer shouldn't happen. Not sure if it works after they've been washed but I would guess so.

Anyone heard of Cadillac Leather Shield Spray? Apparently ladies on this forum spray this on their Chanel bag in caviar and it helps transfers from jeans. Do you think it would work on the soho disco? I would also want to avoid transfers since a portion of my bag is white.

I've had mine for exactly a year and a half now. It still looks really, really, good so I wouldn't say transfer has been a problem, but I do find that I'm mindful of what I plan to wear with it and baby it a little more than I do my other bags. I have a very small amount of transfer on the back corners but it's something you can only see if you really look for it. :)

I went through the same thing when I was buying mine. I ended up getting the Rose Beige first because I didn't have anything like it and I love it for summer. I ended up loving it so much, I recently bought a Disco in red too! It's just a show stopping red. I would say that after owning both, I think the red is a better every day bag for me. The leather on mine is a little thicker and more pebbled and I don't think transfer will be as much of a problem. You can't go wrong either way though!

Thank you all for your inputs. Can't say that I am any wiser :P was supposed to order the bag yesterday but couldn't decide on color haha. Might wait until tomorrow...
So hard decision!

Is there any chance you could see them both in person? Or if not, even order them both and then send back whichever one you don't want?

When I got my first Disco I went to the store to get the red one and I hadn't even really considered Rose Beige. Then when I got there and saw the Rose Beige color I honestly got butterflies lol. It was love at first sight. I had to go home and rethink everything because I had been so sure I wanted red but once I saw the RB in person I couldn't stop thinking about it. Now I have both and I adore the red too, but I definitely think it's worth it to see them both in person before you decide.

They don't have the disco in our Gucci store for the moment :( and yes, I could order both but honestly I am quite afraid something will go wrong wrong with the return shipping (or me wanting to keep both....) and I can't afford two at the moment (since I plan to buy a mini dionysos as well hehe). So probably I will order just one color and if it's not true love I will send it back and try the second color.

I do think red would be the most "sensible" choice since I really want a good red every day crossbody bag. And it is so very hard to find good true reds.

But then, when I saw it IRL it didn't give me butterflies which the rosebeige does when I see it in youtube films....BUT I will probably get less use out of rosebeige (since spring and summer color). The BIG con with rosebeige is that it seems very "in" right now, which means it will feel very "out" in some years. So my biggest doubt is actually not which color I prefer but rather if I love the rosebeige enough to still wear it when it feels out ;) if not, then the red is the right choice since it will never go out of fashion.

Was very close to order the rosebeige 1h ago. Still trying to decide though :P

i have the rose beige and I wouldn't say it looked pink at all it's a stunning nude colour,
I took ages deciding over rose beige and black so I went for rose beige then when it come I was so in love with the bag I ended up getting the black too !!
I don't own the red YET but I love that too
You will love which ever you chose I'm sure x
