A few more, a celebration of the horse-bit and all equestrian

Gucci Centenary 'Hack' (celebrating the Horse) - I bought the 'harness' shoulder pads from the same collection

I remember trying these on a few years ago, but alas they looked awful on me

I wouldn't say no to these vintage pieces, dressage whip, web-stripe belt and hard-hat

1970s men's shoe - my father had these (although he had 2 feet so he'd have had a pair). I have women's that have never been worn and Gucci can't have them LOL

Frida gown SS10

1973 printed suede
I would actually challenge the date of this piece as I have the matching bag and it's definitely from 1970

1970s dress, one of my favourite pieces

What an interesting exhibition! Love the dark floral suit, it's absolutely gorgeous. But I have to say, when I saw the picture of the harness and the bag with the whip handle, my mind did not immediately jump to horses... :graucho:

I'm not sure why they didn't put it over a little something - as it was on the catwalk . Mind you the front-facing zips are slightly suggestive too

I have the shoulder pads, doesn't mean I forget to get dressed in the morning

Agree lol.

The centenary hack reminded me of Helmut Newton’s saddle pic
or some of JPG‘s work

ETA: the front facing zips trimmed in leather were done by H for its men’s sweaters last season
I loved them there too

I know you are on a hiatus from TPF at the moment and praying things are going well with your husband. If you get this message at some point - I attended the Gucci Cosmos exhibit last week when I was in London and am curious about what your favorite part of the exhibit was.

Thank you, I just popped back to check-in on you all in Gucci Forum.

I liked the 'lift' for a start, what a great and clever start.

But my favourite bit was seeing all the vintage bags among the labeled boxes as they were in the archive (obviously, no bag would be left out). If you have Gucci: The making of, you will know exactly what I'm talking about.

I was sooooo ridiculously excited by everything though, I knew I had to take lots of pics at the time because I just couldn't take it all in at the time.

I thought the entire thing was well done, even the first room (after lift) with different luggage, the hallway with info about key moments in gucci history, the equestrian room had so many amazing pieces, as did the one with the flora theme (forget exact name), the archives of course, the red box was amazing, and I really enjoyed the 2 giants wearing suits they projected different prints onto. So hard to pick a favorite!

Glad to hear your husband is getting the treatment he needs and hoping they successfully beat this thing!!!!!
