I've had this bag for about a year now and I've had no issues with the lettering. I spray all of my bags with Collonil waterstop but apart from that I've done nothing special, the lettering has remained just as it was when it arrived.
Oh Gosh, I was just looking at the bamboo handle bags, saw a black fabric one in the vintage market today which I was tempted by, but the condition of it just wasn't quite good enough.... still wondering if I could have brought it back to life.

A little late for a response but I have to say your entire outfit including the gorgeous BTH is so chic and casual especially for this occasion.
Ohhh blue lizard sounds amazing. But no worries, no fight needed haha, I am completely banned for the rest of the year so that blue lizard would be yours

I am not banned without a reason because I am proud to announce that I am finally in the BTH club too ( you might want to check your email when you have time, you got mail).
Seriously, these bags are amazing, can't stop looking at mine. Love all the details on it and of course the tassels....I definitely wanted a BTH with tassels before they are all gone. Mission completed.

One 'good' think about BTHs is there are not that easy to store, therefore left out on display a lot (unless I put them alone in a strong box - not those flimsy GG Gucci boxes) which means there is no hunting necessary when wanting to carry them.

I tossed out all my GG Gucci boxes because they are extremely flimsy. They're sitting safely on my shelves inside their dustbags. It's also convenient because I don't have the hunt down what box I have the bth in.

I store mine with the brace in it's dustbag. I don't use a box. I prefer to let it breathe a bit, give the bird some air
.But then again, I rarely use a box to store any of my bags. Usually I store them in their dustbags and that's it
