I absolutely love these old style bth - they look so delicate and fresh with the blooms print. I am smitten with the green one.Though I agree with you that I miss seeing the detachable tassel and I think they would look even better (if that's possible) if the handle sat closer to the body. I'm glad (even though I have no funds to purchase this pretty bag) that the shoulder strap was kept.
I know, very tempting. The pink-beige is very tempting but then I just bought a beige BTH so that would be silly. Although, it is a very different vibe from the Beige Bold and that textured leather is really good at keeping dirt off (considering light colours).
Certainly my fave 'Bloom' items
I did see them is store but had already spent 'all day' at Gucci so I'll check them out more closely next visit

I am wondering if this means the end of the New Bamboo Top HandleI like the bamboo handle closer to the body and the tassel is a beautiful charm in its own right.
As you can prob tell the bags' handles stand away from the body, referencing a style that goes back to another update, relaunch in the mid-1960s of the original in 1947. The optional bamboo tassel is gone, but happily the shoulder strap still remains (first attached in the 1990s).
These are the Bloom examples which I think will be very pretty for Summer
Mmm, while these are cute, I definitely prefer the New Bamboo with the tassel.
Also, I don't think this Bloom Bamboo top handles would work with my wardrobe. I am sure there are others who can make it work, but I am afraid I am not one of them

The New (older) BTH with the tassels are still around. I know there is nutmeg brown, bright orange, black and some limited editions.
This new version (that is like the old 60s/90s versions
) has plenty more colours available besides the Blooms I think the Blooms have limited use too, for a more versatile bag def stick with the plainer colours

Years ago I saw a beautiful BTH with tassel in a very nice shade of blue, more a pastel blue.
Until today I am still kicking myself for not getting it.
Grey would also work for me, or something like Hermès Griolet (a nice mauve color).

From what I understand the "New Bamboo" is going out and it is to be redesigned in the style of the ORIGINAL bag. The tassel is most certainly going away as it is part of the previous designers concept.
The Blooms in red leather is beautiful. I had a chance to see it arrive while I was in Hawaii this past month. Warning - this website does no have very good reviews. I would certainly research this site before making a purchase. I certainly do not agree with a no refund policy, especially on something you are not able to see in person.

The girls who started it went to Harvard, wrote a book about entrepreneurship, and are kind of a model for the flash sales in the US...and I've returned lots of stuff to them before, I wonder if they changed their policy?
