Thanks dear! I think I prefer a greener green rather than one with blue undertones....My absolute favourite is Vert Foncé which is not offered ATM for SO, unfortunately.
Well now I'm not sure I'm helping by sharing this pic of V. Cypress in Clemence and V. Rousseau in Chevre because it may be opposite of what I originally thought. I would never have thought of Cypress as having blue undertones but I think it's like some pictures of black in Clemence; something about the lighting makes the color appear blue. I'm not good at all with trying to adjust colors on my computer, and the lighting isn't very good at the moment for a pic outdoors.

At the very least it seems to my mind that Vert Cypress is rather a chameleon color, and seems more blue-ish than green. I had a V. Foncé Dogon wallet (lost alas) and can confirm it's a much more 'dark forest green' than these. HTH somewhat @duna :flowers:

Hello, I recently purchased a VC handbag with GHW and I find it definitely does have a twinge of blue and looks teal in some lights. In other lights more green. Most lights a soft dark teal. I find it much softer and easier on the eye than the other brighter H teal whose name escapes me. I wear tons of dark jeans and really, really, really enjoy this color. It gives me the feel of having a “color,” while looking great with so much. Someone on this forum said it did not have a blue…but I don’t agree!

I've been looking around for a comparison between Vert Rousseau and Vert Chypres and stumbled on this thread.

Can someone show pics of the 2 colours side by side, or just even a description of the difference between them....I have searched the internet but the 2 colours look exactly the same to me :confused1:

Thanks for any input!
I wish I could show you Rousseau but at least I can show VC in a couple differing lights and next to black. On my phone the last picture is the closest to how VC usually looks IRL.IMG_4285.jpegIMG_2789.jpegTo me VC is a dark green and VR is much more a very dark teal. I think of Rousseau as slightly darker than VC, actually. Rousseau has more blue, but of course both colors have blue - all greens do! Both are beautiful. Both can look black in the dark. If I had to choose I’d take VC. HTH ❤️

Thanks my dear, very helpful and gorgeous bags:love: I agree with you, I prefer a greener green than dark teal, and I much prefer most greens with gold H/W rather than silver. Definately VC for me! My all time favourite is always Vert Foncé, which is greener than both VR and VC.

Perfect!!! Thanks @QuelleFromage, I was starting to question my eyes. I totally agree, both have blue but Rousseau is definitely a really dark teal. The pic of your lovely Kelly looks exactly like my Birkin. :flowers:
