Graphite and Etoupe too similar?

Etoupe reminds me of mushrooms, that's me. Graphite, I have it in box and they aren't close and graphite is nowhere near being black, imho. It's gray, probably a level 6.5- 7, if you can imagine a 1 to 10 scale with 1 being the white with a pinch of gray and move up the scale to the darkest gray possible without being black.

That said, I will agree that it is a nice neutral.....

I don't think they are similar at all. Etoupe is a great summer neutral to me, as it goes so well with white. Graphite also goes with everything but I consider it more of a winter colour.

They are not the same but......they are the same family so ............ I think you should go for chartreuse. Hope it helps darling.birkel.

I have both graphite & etoupe. I do not think that either is too similiar. I think that graphite is more of a winter colour and etoupe more year round.
