Got my Bulga from AE!

did everyone have a red tag on their bag? because i got a couple of sheets with the web policies on them and everything... that said they won't accept anything back without the red tag.. problem is... i dont even have a red tag on my bag to begin with!!! only a white price tag....???! and is there some other way i can contact them? i can't get through one the phone.. i'm in canada...
oh, and the bag was dirty, NOT the colour i expected it to be.. to be fair, the leather was soft, and there werent many scuff marks on it. i've never seen a bulga around before.. but it definitely did not look like it did in the picture... =( i bought the medium tote in citrus. it ended up looking dull yellow, like it has dust on it. i feel like crying now....

My friend just got the bag and he said it's okay. I just don't know if his okay is acceptable in my standards :P But I do hope it will turn out fine. I am going to receive mine probably after 1-1.5 week if my friend ship it to me this weekend. Will update you girls.
 
My taupe tote is changing colors, or at least it is a different shade in the back than the front. It looks like they made it from different swatches of leather. I emailed them, but if they don't reply, I'll just keep it. It's cute, and I can always give it to my daughter later. After my hassle with Hayden-Harnett, I think I'm sick of this. I may quit ordering bags on the Internet. Anyway, the price was good.

I want to return mine too. I sent an e-mail. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm just not happy with the leather. Seems crinkly, not smooth like my other bulga!
 
The cognac is my third Bulga (although I sold my other two a long time ago) and the leather on all three of my bags is different. My fuschia bag was the softest, buttery-est, and smoothest. Chocolate was more pebbled and sturdy, and cognac is kind of "dried out" looking but I don't dislike it. I carried my tote today and I really enjoyed it. :)

Oh, I had the Sage bag too for a while and it was different as well.
 
Orinoco: No worries, you'll be able to return. Neither of my sale bags had red tags on them. Try replying to your order confirmation email... they can be a little slow but you'll get it resolved.
 
I'm really sorry about your bags from AE. I still can't figure out why they emailed me about the condition of the bag. I'm guessing that the bag they were going to send me was really really bad. It seems that they've been good in giving everyone a refund though.
 
well.. emailed them like u said i should.. they were happy to give me a refund, minus shipping charge, of course... *sigh* oh well... much better than nothing.

On their site they advertise free shipping and free returns. Did they say why they are charging you?
