I have three Puzzles in the classic calfskin (not grained). They are from 2019, 2022 and 2023. I have not noticed any difference in the look, feel, or durability of the leather.
I’m actually trying to narrow the time frame to make better choices when I buy. So what you’re saying is the bags from 2 years ago don’t feel the same as 4-6 yrs ago and the bags now don’t feel the same as 2 years ago, did I understand you correctly?
That’s really good to know. But regarding durability I think it’s too early to compare bags of 2019 and 2023. But I’m glad to hear that the look and feel of your bag’s leather is the same!
Regarding durability, I have noticed the leather on my newer Puzzles does not scratch easily. Like my 2019 Puzzle, light scratches on the leather of the newer bags seems to buff out easily with my finger. So far, the newer bags seem just like my 2019 version.
