Gommino Driving defects

Hi,

I wanted a pair of Gommino shoes so long since I saw them on Wendy's Lookbook. Last month I finally ordered a pair from Tods boutique in Chicago. I just started wearing them last week and telling my husband how comfy they are that I might getting another pair.

Yesterday while wearing them I noticed the thread on left one is getting loose, after I only wore the shoes 4 times. So I called the boutique today, the SA flat out told me take to a cobbler to get it fix, but they can't do anything since I already wore the shoes. I was expecting at least some sympathy or at least offer to send back to get repair, but nope! Nothing!!! For a $400 pair of shoes and this is the kind of service they offer?!?!?
This will be my first and last pair of shoes from Tods!

That stinks! Did you try speaking with a manager there? You should go in person.

That's a bummer. I might still try and get a manager on the phone though because they might be able to do more for you than an SA can. For what it's worth the shoes are lovely and a quick stitch will make them as good as new.
