You have great style! Your clothing colors seem to lean on the neutral/cooler side, so gold may be nice as it adds a bit of a warmer yet is still neutral pop of color.

When I first started my Hermes journey, I thought I wanted every bag in etoupe and thought gold looked too classic. But after I got my first etoupe item, I realized I didn’t love it and it seemed to wash me out. I subsequently got a gold picotin 18 and surprisingly loved it.

not helping much here. i wanted an etoupe badly.. when i went to purchase a picotin 18 and placed them side by side i took goldn(when it wasnt even on my list initially). BUT im going for a lindy 26 in etoupe this time, not gonna change my mind. I love my etoupe kelly belt. its so versatile, and i dont wear neutrals much, yet etoupe belt matches most of them, if not everything.
its like black, as much as i love black, i find it very "harsh" to match what i wear. i hardly use my kelly for that reason.

I am debating on the similar bag/color combo! How do you like your Picotin 18 in gold? could I ask what made you choose Picotin in gold back then, and do you still like it? I don't have any Hermes but wanted to get a Picotin (from resell market so I'd pay a premium), and am debating between Etoupe vs. Gold.
Would love to get any advice you may have. Thank you!

Wow. I was literally in this same predicament a few weeks ago where I was offered an etoupe Birkin. I eventually went with the gold Birkin, and it is stunning (especially with the white stitching).

However I think I'll choose etoupe as my next/secondary selection. Good luck on your decison; I don't think you can go wrong either way.

i love my pico in gold. when i got there i was determined to buy an ETOUPE picotin. but somehow it didnt feel right. Gold wasnt even on my list. I fell in love with gold and brought her home. I got mine also from resell market

etoupe is really muddy but i find that its also chameleon, looks diff in diff lighting. So i wanted to bring etoupe home no matter what and bought a lindy 26 off preloved market, so hard to get!

both colours will be good. Initially i wanted a BLACK lindy but i realised it doesnt match my wardrobe much which is why i hardly use my kelly 28. both gold and etoupe is very netural. i wear all colours, red, pink, green, blue, white and black.

sometimes i really hate hermes, its highly addictive.
