I like gold on my skin (warmer/yellower skintone), but for your fair skintone, I think etoupe might look more complementary. But as people said, you can't go wrong with neutral

I have both colours and tend to pick up my etoupe bags more often especially with navy and black. I echo other posters that both will work with your wardrobe. Etoupe is more understated, gold is a brighter neutral. Trust your instincts, you can’t go wrong with either colour.
I have bags in both colors, and have a Etoupe-GP in 36 and use it often, but I do think the gold will be more of a richer color to warm up neutral outfits. I think the Etoupe with PHW may feel more washed out with neutral outfits. I love Etoupe, but in this case, vote for Gold. Good luck!
I agree with most that either will look great with your wardrobe. So, I would just make your decision based on which color makes you smile just a bit more!

My vote is for gold. I can't explain it, but maybe people are right about etoupe being muddy. Although etoupe looks neutral, I just couldn't get it to work for me.
As many others, have both ~ you might just wind up with both, yourself!

Sorry to etoupe fans. I almost always prefer gold. Your outfits would go with either, good luck deciding!

If you tend to enjoy tonal pairings, go with etoupe. (That's the style I see from the photos you shared.)
If you like a pop of color against your wardrobe, go with the gold.

Gold is more universally flattering. Etoupe is a muddy brown like raw pottery clay, I am not sure if it is flattering on anyone - unless you are a "very cold" toned person.
I am extremely “cold toned” as @absolutanne says above. I would never wear gold near my face. I would pick a gold bag over etoupe any day of the week. Gold works with almost any gold and adds a brightness to any outdoor. Etoupe looks muddy and washed out to me.
Gold looks old on me (I’m sure it works perfect for most people). Etoupe, as much as it’s neutral, it’s more cheery. When I carry Etoupe, I’m in a happier mood than wearing gold. I don’t know why! (Maybe just my wardrobe colors against them. And from your pics, I actually find Etoupe would look more fun on you).

I would go with Etoupe, just because it is such a specific Hermes color. It is easier to find a gold bag with another designer if you need it for a specific outfit (your LV monogram is more gold and brown).
