Thanks carlinha! I don't know if it's coming back but I have a feeling the bag was made from remaining leather after the recent rounds of SO offerings. From my understanding, the SA said she was very surprised to see it when it arrived. However I've learnt with H to never say never!

Thanks Joanne, but I doubt they will be able to do anything as we do not have any crafts people locally. I can't bear to part with it just yet if it has to be sent to Paris. So I turn the turnlock the other way so the scratched side is facing down. 😆

I know! I still haven't gotten over the shock quite yet. Urgh, I'm so mad at myself! This always happens to my favourite bags! My lipstick b sustained a similar scratch when I opened the car door. It just fell off the seat, face down onto the pavement! 😭😭😭
