If I were shopping in Europe under the current conditions, I would not be comfortable having my wish not be on the official Wish List. While I personally do not believe the company line of "all bag offers come through the Wish List from a centralized corporate office" having your wish officially logged cannot hurt and only increases your chances. I mean, what if your SA leaves the company? Your wish would just go POOF!Hi everyone, not sure if this is the right thread but I would like to ask for some insights regarding the wish list system in Europe.
I asked my SA whom I have a good relationship if I should renew my wish list for a K28 since it was expiring in a month. He replied that there is no need to do that since the boutique "knows" me and that it will come eventually. This was already a year ago and I have not received any offers...which I am not bothered by as my wish list is a push offer. I am patient and can wait.
Now I am interested in a Kelly Cut and when I mentioned it, my SA very friendly said he would "work on it". I noticed he didn't visibly make any notes in my profile. Although he did offer me some unsuitable alternatives on the spot.
My confusion is now to do with the fact that SMs are the ones approving bag allocations. So if a bag is not noted down on a profile as wish list how could the SM possibly know of my requests?
Again, asking simply for clarification. I do not need or desperately want any of these bags. I'm simply trying to understand the current system.
