IF I totally got sucked in by the Volver, too! After errands, daughter and I dropped by my store to “just check out” what’s new since I haven’t been by in months...et voila, big sucker I am!

Hi there! How my SA quelled my ambivalence regarding the Volver being non leather booties was by saying “you know how Cole Haan has had great success with stitch lites and Nike with fly knits?” Somehow it made sense, and when I tried it on I could feel and see how thick and sturdy the knit was. Also some parts are reinforced with leather panels - the interior of the ankle area, the instep area, plus there is a leather strip running along the outside back portion of the ankle area which holds up the shaft and the overall silhouette of the boots.
As far as dirt and wear, shoe protector spray may help but they come in dark colors so dirt won’t be a problem unless they’re used in loose soil or maybe the countryside? Sorry if my description is confusing, I think if you look at pics online and read my description it might make sense haha HTH!
Can never be sure but I wear 38 in heeled H sandals as well, so true to size. Now it's heating up in Europe so maybe I can forget about these
Yes they run true to size for me too. And do not pinch at the sides or toes. I find them super comfy.
I’m after the saint germain boots in black, but my local store only has suede in my size instead of the normal leather. I have never considered this before but what do you guys think about those boots in suede? Or should I wait for normal leather. The suede ones have dark greyish buckles.
