Me wants a pair of kelly jumping boots too!!! I passed on a pair this past summer as I was afraid that my calves would not fit. But do to recent weight loss, my calves are measuring 13" and I think the boots will fit. I called my SA and she is going to search for me...wish me luck!!

Thanks for all the beautiful pictures!!

LVLover- Yay!!! Wonderful decision!! Good luck in your search!!

Esmeh- Thank you for all your wonderful information, I will get some Sole Guard too.
I am wearing them with pjs and socks tonite too! You are right, great way to help the
break in period. I got the heel lifts and that really helped and they are getting very
comfortable! This is so funny, I wore them to the doctor today and he said "OOh,
Hermes", I was surprised that a man knew just what they were!!

Good Morning! *waves* Hoping I could ask a question. I'm usually a 40 in shoes/boots, however when I was at the Madison store they only had a 40.5 for me to try on (fit ok, however heels were big when walked, but reading this sounds like a slight heel pad would fit nicely). Just was wondering if most of you went up a size or if they fit TTS? Thank you in advance! :flowers:

Hi Pugs, got a 37, which is my normal size as going down a size was too small in the toe
area. In the 37, my toes are just where they should be. I am very small and narrow in
the heel area, so my heels were lifting up, so I did put heel pad (gel kind) in both boots.
I wore a thick sock the first few times and now they are perfect! Hope this helps

Thank you Pamella! :flowers: I'm thinking of sticking with the 40.5 (left calf was tight :shame:) worried if I go down to the 40 there will be a calf difference and I won't be able to fit, inserts are easy enough to add.

(many congrats on your new boots, saw the action pics, you look fantastic!)

I have to say I think they are are pretty true to size. I am a perfect US 7.5 and a Euro 38 but I took at 37.5 in these boots. I have two pair and both 37.5. Like Pamella I have thin legs so calves ok but DH has to help me pull them off (I need a chair when I go through airport security in them) I think these give over time so I would be hesitant to go up a size. Just my .02.

^^^^^^ I agree TT I did exactly the same as you - I came down 1/2 a size (from my regular size) as there was far too much heel slip and the SA told me that she had had the same problem and ended up not being able to wear hers and wished she'd gone down 1/2 a size.
To be honest they were a little snug across the toe area (only on one foot), but they have softened and each time I wear them they give a little, so it's fine now.

I'm so glad you said this - it made me laugh with recognition!

I was wearing pretty thick socks the day I bought them, and had to ask the SA help to remove them, then later that day my son! (he found that hilarious!) So not prepared to put them on unless there is another willing individual in the vincinity to help me off with them!

so glad you got your boots Roo, these girls are enablers aren't they?
pamella, you look marvelous in those boots...well honestly I guess in anything! You rock those boots!!
Gladly for my bank account, I got new boots this season so i'll have to pass this time, though it is itching me...aggghhhh!

Just gorgeous :yahoo:!!! Look at that sheen, and the brides de gala scarf is beautiful with them too. Have fun wearing them, it's a very good decision; you'll never get tired of them, i'm sure!

Thanks tae, not sure if I can keep them as pristine as MT so always good to have a record of how they look new!

Stunning Roo! Gorgeous paired with your BdG! Enjoy! I really really need a pair!

Thank you lovely64! - here's hoping you can join the happy hopping clan sooner rather than later!

CONGRATULATIONS Roo! Will never tire of the Kelly Jumping Boots pics!

Any chance of modelling your new beauties for us..?

Modelling pictures to follow - DH permitting!

These are beautiful boots. Whenever I purchase a new pair of expensive shoes/boots that I intend to wear a lot, I always have my shoe person put an additional layer of rubberized material on the heels and half the soles. Not only does this extend the life and make the bottoms less slippery, it is much more comfortable to walk on vs. plain leather.

Good thinking toujour*chic ! So excited to wear this outside, but well worth postponing until this has been done - thanks for the tip! And timely too as the snow is on it's way back!

O.M.G.!!!:faint:How did I miss this thread? Love:love:love the pictures ladies!!! Kat I love your story boots!! I:thinkin:wonder if they still make them? Perfect for jeans!!! Wow!!! Great thread Roo glad that you got your pair!

Thanks Julide (still loving that name :graucho:) thank you - very pleased too!:hugs:

:hugs: Thank you flower, you are so sweet! It's that "itching" for those
boots that got to me too and lots of wonderful enabling, and all those
fabulous pictures, oh my!!!!

Just wondering if anyone has a good leather product that they use on their
boots to keep them pristine!

T.T. I was wondering about airports in these boots!

Roo- can't wait to see your modeling pics!

I called a bunch of stores today, no luck with the black kelly jumping boot in 37 (unless my SA found a pair for me, won't know till tomorrow, fingers crossed!!). So, I'll have to wait until summer. The mocha are available, wondering if I should pick these up??

Any thoughts....

If possible can someone with the kelly jumping boots post pics of this boot worn under a bootcut or trouser pant/jeans? If the boot looks good worn this way I can justify the mocha and black pair....TIA
