I have to say that im disapointed that we women are here bashing on the female in the relationship. Haven’t we evolved beyond this yet?
Maybe the 6 months he’s home, he’s not helpful with the kids whatsoever and she’s sick of it?
I think there are folks on both sides here and folks who just calls it as they see it, where they’re on a side (for the record I’m on neither).

Personally I dislike this even more. I’ve seen females be promoted just as a figurehead, by people (males predominately, I personally had a female boss that would hold me back only to dangle promotion when others came knocking, and tried to pay me substantially less than a male she hired few years prior, and was not happy with me when I worked out with the recruiter to hit higher then the number she absolutely would not move from) that wants to be part of “evolved” yet it’s just setting them up for failure as they’re not ready. Males that went up for the role is resentful because here’s this female on a fast track that didn’t put in the work but just looks the part.

Then they quit or take the lesser role down the line when they can’t perform (over being fired).

That’s not to say, there isn’t still sexist associations. But I haven’t see any here and I don’t think we should automatically support someone just because they’re female or just because they’re a POC female marrying into white royalty.

ETA: and this is assuming on your part that all the ‘bashers’ are females. There are males who like purses as well as socializing around the internet via forums and so unless they’ve specifically identified themselves as such, well, see the beginning of this eta.

I can't stand Tom or Gisele so I am not judging her for the fact that she has two X chromosomes.

However, Gisele is the one who is making their divorce news public knowledge. In that sense she is inviting scrutiny. Even something as seemingly innocuous as these photos of Gisele carrying a box going to the office of her "spiritual healer" were planned to project a certain image (needing a spiritual healer). The photos were supplied by Backgrid, the paparazzi company which arranges pap walks with celebrities who wish to be photographed in certain places and situations.

As far as I'm concerned, Gisele planning her publicity strategy for the divorce leaves her wide open for our gossip discussions. I'm not going to avoid talking about her because she and I both happen to be women. Tom might be an @sshole and if you have info you want to share about it, by all means go for it.

I think it has bothered Tom for a long time that he can’t pull off the “fun guy” thing that Peyton and other football stars can. It always seems forced with him.
Well the great thing about Peyton is that no one expected him to be funny or not take himself seriously 100% of the time. I think that's because he is Mormon and just seems so straight-laced. But he's shown he can be funny and doesn't mind being the butt of a joke. Tom just seems like he has no sense of humor at all.

Peyton has comedic timing and you can’t learn that, you either have it or you don’t. The SNL episode he hosted was probably the best I’ve seen by an athlete.

It'll be interesting to see, in the years ahead, how he does as a commentator. Peyton, Eli and even Tony Romo and Drew Brees have shown what a great sense of humor they all have and that has translated very well into commentating and commercials. Maybe Tom is just hiding a lot and will let loose when he retires.

One of my bucket list items was to see Peyton in his final season, and thankfully they won.

@bag-mania Nah, this would end in endless hairsplitting what bashing is.
I referred to this and your answer.

@LibbyRuth That's okay, but it shows a certain perception that also can be talked in the context.
