This! It seems that some SA's give gifts no matter the spend. Also, does it depend on the store? I exclusively shop at the KOP boutique with the same SA for years and don't receive gifts with every purchase ~ I do get great service with every purchase which I really appreciate.
Are some boutiques more generous? So weird.

We’ve use the same SA for years with one year being a pretty heavy spend. We’ve never received more than champagne and perfume samples.
I think it all depends on who the SA is and which boutique. I know someone who gets invited to events, flowers, trays, watch cases, etc and another friend who got nothing and purchased watches and high jewelry pieces.

My SA just left apparently, but we had a great relationship with him, I loved him! We spent lots of time together at visits and he invited us to a high jewelry event that was amazing. But still no gifts really! It's the Dallas boutique, I don't know if it was just him, or the store.
This year I spent less and got a candle. Last year I got ornaments. So I feel like there is a correlation but not sure.
Hi Swanky, Did you boldly ask? Sometimes you have to ask the SA directly because some, if not all, SAs are afraid of sending customers “junk mail”. Same for their complimentary boxes of chocolate and cheesecakes in store. They love to be loved. My husband hates jewelry boutique desserts, so best the SAs know before they go to waste. I had a friend who doesn’t eat chocolate either.
I received a full bottle of champagne from an SA, but I had to ask. She said they normally only hand it out for an engagement ring purchase. I think they only hand out small bottles of champagne now. And no, the Cartier branded champagne is not great - nothing to be FOMO about. 😆 (don’t kill the messager). I think they hand out ornaments freely. It is not great either. They even put these on your bag with purchase. Just ask the SA. The new ornaments I see are 2D though.
Like the jewelry cleaning kit, just need to ask.
