"Gifts" from Cartier SAs

I haven’t shopped since the very end of June, but was served champagne our whole visit and he sent me home with a beautiful full sized and a mini bottle as well. We didn’t ask for anything.

How do you go about asking for gift that doesn't come across wrong? I have purchase the JUC bracelet, JUC ring, and a LOVE ring and was never offered anything.

My friend buys Cartier and VCA and she asks for gifts, lol.
I don't have the balls, but she does get nice gifts by asking. She just got a leather card case from Cartier.

Are you in the US? Here they are quite stingy. Try Europe instead, much more generous.

We’ve made 5 purchases and have only received perfume samples then champagne once while there for anniversary gift. Love my SA, I can’t imagine asking for gifts

I think it depends on your relationship with your SA. I have an amazing one (NYC) who has given me chocolates, a Lunar New Year lighted box, perfume samples, a candle, and a private lunch. But before her, I got nothing.

I've bought love bracelets, the full JUC set, watches, rings galore but no ones ever offered me a gift (one time I even bought four rings and a bracelet in one visit). Either I shop from the wrong locations or they just don't think I'm worthy of gifting?

Out of curiosity…if you shop at Cartier in a given year, will they usually send out catalogues by the end of the year for the holidays?

The first time I shopped at Cartier years ago, I wound up getting a holiday catalogue in the mail.

This year we purchased something much more expensive but got no catalogue. Not sure if this is normal? Or are they trying to be more environmentally friendly (which is fine)?
